Real medical support for adults struggling with weight.
SendSlim is for adults who want safe, honest, medical help with weight loss — not another fad diet. Here’s who we’re built to help.
People we commonly help
We don’t just chase a number on the scale — we look at your whole health and try to lower your overall risk.
Adults with weight-related health problems
We often help people whose weight affects their health:
- Pre-diabetes or diabetes
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol or triglycerides
- Joint or back pain worsened by extra weight
- Fatty liver or early liver concerns
- Sleep issues, snoring, or suspected sleep apnea
People who have “tried everything”
“I’ve tried every diet.”
“I lose weight, then gain it all back.”
“I’m tired of feeling like it’s all my fault.”
We help people sick of yo-yo dieting, confused by conflicting advice, and ready for a medical, structured approach that’s still humane and realistic.
Busy, real-life adults
We commonly work with parents juggling kids and work, shift and night-shift workers, truck drivers and field workers, desk workers, and caregivers who put everyone else first.
Because we’re telehealth-only, you can visit from home, work, or your parked car — as long as it’s safe, private, and you’re in a state where we’re licensed.
Curious about medication — or nervous about it
Some ask “Is a weight-loss medication right for me?” Others say “I’m scared of medicine, but I need help.” SendSlim is for both:
- We never guarantee medication, and never force it
- We explain risks, benefits, and costs in plain language
- If it’s unsafe or not needed, we say so and focus on other tools
People who want respect, not shame
We work hard to make SendSlim a shame-free space. We’re a good fit if you want to be listened to (not rushed), treated like a whole person (not just a BMI), gentle honesty with clear expectations, and support when things are hard (not scolding). You can talk openly about stress eating, late-night snacking, or feeling stuck. We’ve heard it all — we’re here to help, not judge.
Where you must be located
By law, we can only treat patients who are physically located in a state where we’re licensed at the time of the visit. You can live elsewhere and read our content, but we cannot provide care or prescriptions unless you’re in a covered state during your visit. You’ll see the current list of states when you book.
Who we’re not the right fit for
To be clear and safe, there are situations where SendSlim isn’t the right choice.
Children & teens
We do not treat anyone under 18. Weight concerns for children and teens are best handled by pediatric and adolescent specialists.
Pregnancy & breastfeeding
Not a good fit if you’re pregnant, actively trying to conceive, or breastfeeding/planning to soon. Many weight-loss medications aren’t safe then. We can discuss general health, but may not be able to use certain treatments.
Active eating disorders
Not the right clinic for active anorexia, bulimia, or severe binge-eating disorder not under specialist care. These need specialized mental-health and eating-disorder care, which we’ll usually recommend.
Unstable or complex conditions
Telehealth weight-loss care may not fit if you have very unstable heart disease, recent major surgery or hospitalization, severe uncontrolled mental-health conditions, or untreated severe substance use. These often need in-person, team-based care.
Emergencies & crisis situations
SendSlim is never for emergencies. If you have:
- Chest pain or trouble breathing
- Sudden weakness, trouble speaking, confusion, or vision loss
- Severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat)
- Vomiting that will not stop
- Thoughts of harming yourself or others
- Any symptom that feels severe, scary, or life-threatening
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Do not wait for a telehealth appointment or a message from us.
