What is SendSlim?
SendSlim is an online medical weight-loss program. You meet a licensed clinician by video or phone, and together you build a safe plan — which may include weight-loss medication when it’s appropriate for you. It’s real medical care, not a fad diet or a “miracle pill” site.
How do I get started?
Pick an available day and book your visit online. After booking, we send you secure intake forms and a health questionnaire to complete before your visit. Your clinician reviews your answers, meets you by video or phone, and builds your plan.
Do I qualify?
SendSlim may be a good fit if you’re an adult (18+), live in a state where we’re licensed, and want medical help with weight loss. You’ll see the current list of states when you book. We’re not a fit for those under 18, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for certain unstable medical conditions.
How soon can I be seen?
Usually within a few days. You pick any open day when you book, then complete your forms before the visit.
💳 Cost & payment
How much does it cost?
Your first visit is $49. Ongoing care is $99/month and includes a monthly visit, messaging, plan adjustments, lab orders when needed, and prescriptions sent to your pharmacy when appropriate. You can cancel anytime.
Do I need insurance?
No. SendSlim is cash-pay. There are no insurance claims or surprise bills for your visits.
How much does the medication cost?
That depends on the specific drug, dose, pharmacy, and any insurance you use for the prescription. Your clinician explains likely costs before you decide. Medication is billed by your pharmacy, not by SendSlim.
What about lab costs?
Labs are billed by the lab, not by us. You can use insurance if the lab accepts it, or ask about cash pricing. We’ll help you find affordable options.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Ongoing care is month-to-month with no long contract.
💊 Medication
Will I get a prescription?
Not guaranteed. Medication is only prescribed when a licensed clinician decides it’s safe and appropriate for you. We never force medication, and we don’t prescribe drugs we believe are unsafe for you.
What medications might be used?
Depending on what’s right for you, this may include GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide or tirzepatide. Your clinician discusses the options, risks, benefits, and costs in plain language.
Is weight-loss medication safe?
Like any medication, it has risks and side effects. That’s why a licensed clinician reviews your health first and monitors you with follow-up visits and labs. We always combine medicine with lifestyle changes, not medicine alone.
Where is my prescription sent?
To your chosen pharmacy, where allowed, so you can pick it up or have it shipped per the pharmacy’s options.

How do visits work?
Visits are by video or phone from home. After booking and completing your forms, you meet your clinician at your scheduled time. See our Telehealth Visit Guide for how to prepare and join.
What device do I need?
A smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, plus a stable internet or phone connection. If your internet is weak, we may switch to a phone call when safe and allowed.
Will you replace my regular doctor?
No. SendSlim supports your weight-loss care. We recommend you keep a primary care provider for routine checkups, vaccines, screenings, and other health needs.
How do follow-ups and refills work?
Keep your follow-up appointments and request refills through the portal or your pharmacy where allowed. For safety, we may require a follow-up visit or updated labs before refilling certain medicines. Don’t wait until you’re completely out.
SendSlim is not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke signs, a severe allergic reaction, or thoughts of harming yourself or others, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away. Don’t wait for a telehealth visit or a message back.
