Real medical support for adults struggling with weight in California and Nevada.
SendSlim Clinic is for adults who want safe, honest, medical help with weight loss — not another fad diet. This page explains the kinds of people and health situations we are best designed to help.
Our Patients at a Glance
SendSlim Clinic is a good fit if you:
- Are 18 years or older
- Are physically in California or Nevada during visits
- Struggle with overweight or obesity
- Want help from a licensed medical provider, not just another diet plan
You do not need to be at your “worst” weight or “perfectly ready” to change.
If you’re thinking, “I can’t keep going like this,” you’re in the right place.
People We Commonly Help
1. Adults with Weight-Related Health Problems
We often help people whose weight is affecting their health, such as:
-
Pre-diabetes or diabetes
-
High blood pressure
-
High cholesterol or triglycerides
-
Joint pain or back pain made worse by extra weight
-
Fatty liver or early liver concerns
-
Sleep issues, snoring, or suspected sleep apnea
We don’t just chase a number on the scale.
We look at your whole health and try to lower your overall risk.
2. People Who Have “Tried Everything”
Many SendSlim patients say things like:
-
“I’ve tried every diet.”
-
“I lose weight, then gain it all back.”
-
“I’m tired of feeling like it’s all my fault.”
We help people who are:
-
Sick of yo-yo dieting
-
Confused by all the conflicting advice online
-
Ready for a medical, structured approach that’s still humane and realistic
We will ask about what you’ve tried and what felt impossible, then build something more practical for your life.
3. Busy, Real-Life Adults
We understand your life is full, and that matters.
We commonly work with:
-
Parents juggling kids, work, and home
-
Shift workers and night-shift staff
-
Truck drivers and field workers who are on the road
-
Office workers who sit most of the day
-
Caregivers who put everyone else first
Because we’re telehealth-only, you can visit from home, work, or even your parked car (as long as it’s safe and private and you are in CA or NV).
4. People Curious About Medication — and People Nervous About It
Some patients come to us asking, “Is a weight-loss medication right for me?”
Others say, “I’m scared of medicine, but I need help.”
SendSlim is for both types:
-
We never guarantee medication, and we never force it.
-
We explain risks, benefits, and costs in plain language.
-
If medication is unsafe or not needed, we tell you honestly and focus on other tools.
5. People Who Want Respect, Not Shame
We work hard to make sure SendSlim is a shame-free space.
We are a good fit for people who want:
-
To be listened to, not rushed
-
To be treated like a whole person, not just a BMI
-
Gentle honesty and clear expectations
-
Support when things are hard, not scolding
You can talk openly about stress eating, late-night snacking, or feeling stuck.
We’ve heard it all. We are here to help, not judge.
Where You Must Be Located
By law, we can only treat patients who are physically in:
-
California, or
-
Nevada
at the time of the visit.
You can live in a different state and read our educational content, but we cannot give you medical care or prescriptions unless you are in California or Nevada during the visit.
Who We Are Not the Right Fit For
To be clear and safe, there are some situations where SendSlim is not the right choice:
1. Children and Teens
We do not treat:
-
Children under 18
-
Teens under 18
Weight concerns for children and teens are best handled by pediatric and adolescent specialists.
2. Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
We are not a good fit if you:
-
Are currently pregnant
-
Are actively trying to become pregnant
-
Are breastfeeding or planning to breastfeed soon
Many weight-loss medications are not safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
We can discuss general health and lifestyle, but we may not be able to use certain treatments.
3. Active Eating Disorders
We are not the right clinic if you have:
-
Active anorexia,
-
Active bulimia, or
-
Severe binge-eating disorder that is not under specialist care.
These conditions need specialized mental health and eating-disorder care.
We may still support general health conversations, but we will usually recommend you work with an eating-disorder specialist team.
4. Unstable or Complex Medical Conditions
Telehealth weight-loss care may not be right for you if you have:
-
Very unstable heart disease
-
Recent major surgery or hospitalization
-
Severe uncontrolled mental health conditions
-
Severe substance use issues that are not being treated
These situations often need in-person, team-based care. We may advise you to work closely with specialists or a local clinic instead.
5. Emergencies and Crisis Situations
SendSlim is never for emergencies.
If you have:
-
Chest pain or trouble breathing
-
Sudden weakness, trouble speaking, confusion, or vision loss
-
Severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; trouble breathing)
-
Vomiting that will not stop
-
Thoughts of harming yourself or others
-
Any symptom that feels severe, scary, or life-threatening
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
Do not wait for a telehealth appointment or a message from us.
